The 3rd Annual All About Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event is fast approaching on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at West Acres Shopping Center, Fargo, ND. West Acres is teaming up with local organizations and individuals for a third year to drive awareness and raise funds as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Staffed informational booths will be located near center court at West Acres. The All About Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event includes:

Wear Pink to Give Pink – As part of the event, West Acres is asking customers and staff to “Go Pink” on Friday, October 14th. Upload a photo on Instagram or Twitter of yourself wearing pink at the event and tag @WestAcresMall and #WAgoesPink or post one to the West Acres Facebook page (facebook.com/westacresmall). For each photo submission received, West Acres will donate $5 to local breast cancer research as part of the West Acres Cares Program. Disclaimer: Accounts must be “public” in order for West Acres to see and count photo submissions. In order for photos to qualify for donations, they must be taken at the event within the mall.

Fountain of Hope. All change collected from the West Acres fountain, located near JCPenney, from Friday, October 14th – Sunday, October 16th will be donated to local breast cancer research. Visitors are invited to stop by the fountain and make a hopeful wish for those who are suffering and have suffered from breast cancer.

Book Signing Event – Cynthia J. Eggl will be selling and signing copies of her book, “Boundless Blessings and God’s Grace: My Journey through Breast Cancer” at the event. If you know someone who has already purchased her book, she would be happy to sign it for them if they bring it to the event. For those who would like to purchase the book at the event, there will be hard cover and soft cover books available for sale.

Drawing for West Acres Gift Cards. Customers will have a chance to register for a drawing for one of the four West Acres Gift Cards during the event. That drawing box, slips of paper and pens will be available on the end of the Are You Dense.org display table. A small donation box will also be available at the Cynthia Eggl table should anyone wish to make a donation for local breast cancer research.
